📢 Dear directors of the Water Boards, regulation and control technicians, and municipal technicians:

To facilitate report submissions and avoid the need to deliver them physically at ERSAPS offices, a new online mechanism has been enabled. From now on, the annual reports of the Water Boards must be submitted via an electronic form. This form is easy to fill out and allows for a faster and more organized process.

📍 What should you do?

• 1️⃣ Access the form at the following link: Electronic form.
• 2️⃣ Fill in the requested information.
• 3️⃣ Attach the following documents in digital format:
• ✔️ Financial statements signed and sealed by a certified public accountant.
• ✔️ Water quality analysis certificate.
• ✔️ Activity report (Maximum 5 pages, with photos).
• ✔️ Bank account certificate of the Water Board.

📍 Requirements for attached documents.

• 📄 Must be in PDF format.
• 👀 Must be clear and legible.

📅 Deadline to submit reports: April 30, 2025.

In line with the Bicentennial Plan promoted by President Xiomara Castro, the Regulatory Entity for Drinking Water and Sanitation Services (ERSAPS) has installed a complaint box with the aim of strengthening transparency and fostering citizen participation.

This secure and confidential channel will allow the population to submit complaints, suggestions, and reports about government services related to drinking water and sanitation, thus ensuring greater citizen oversight and access to effective control mechanisms.

The inauguration event was attended by the Coordinating Director of ERSAPS, Attorney José Luis Melara Murillo, who emphasized the importance of this effort to improve service quality and combat possible irregularities. Also attending were the Ministerial Liaison, Yuri Melara, and Coordinator Ana Alvarado, representing the Secretariat for Transparency and the Fight Against Corruption, reaffirming the government’s commitment to accountability and anti-corruption efforts.

ERSAPS urges the public to use this complaint box to express their concerns and actively contribute to service improvements. Through this initiative, the Government of the Republic continues to promote a more approachable, participatory, and citizen-centered governance.

The undersigned Coordinating Director, Attorney José Luis Melara Murillo, performed the swearing-in of the Institutional Internal Control Committee (COCOIN) of the Regulatory Entity for Drinking Water and Sanitation Services (ERSAPS). This act reaffirms the institution’s commitment to transparency, integrity, and continuous improvement in the management of our services.
